Penambahan PGF2α dalam pengencer semen dapat meningkatkan motilitas pasca thawing motility spermatozoa domba Waringin

<p class="MDPI17abstract"><strong>Objective: </strong>The purpose of this research was to find out the rise spermatozoa motility Waringin sheep which given additional amount PGF2α in commercial semen diluents (Andromed).</p><p class="MDPI17abstract"><strong>Methods: </strong>A total 3 aged 2-3 years were used study. Semen samples collected using an artificial vagina and evaluation quality carried macroscopically microscopically. This study a unidirectional completely randomized design. After evaluated, added with Andromed afterwards divided into three groups treatment, K1; K2; K3 where each group then physiologic NaCl, 37,5 µg PGF2α, 75 PGF2α. All equilibrated refrigerator for 4 hours examined, after freezing process stored 24 hours, post thawing examined. The data obtained analyzed one-way analysis variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan test.<strong></strong></p><p class="MDPI17abstract"><strong>Results: result showed that equilibration (%) sheeps at 43,67±1,20; 75,00±4,00; 82,33 ±3,18 (P<0,05); 25,33±1,85; 49,33±3,17; dan 54,00 ±5,50 (P<0,05).<strong></strong></p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>In conclusion prefreezing on diluents.
